This small program connects via the internet to our server connected to a sample database.  This is a demo Product Management and Ordering Tracking system.

When trying out, it would be best to ask your colleague to run another copy of this OrderTracker.exe from another machine connected to the internet.  Ask him to edit some data and press "Tick" to save the changes.  Then, from you own machine, click "Get Data" to see the changes he just made in real-time.  The speed is impressive even on slow 20k modem connection.

With a small program and an internet connection (e.g. modem at 28.8 kps), any user can instantly access the central database located in Hong Kong.  He/She can read and update date in real time.  Since all data is compressed and encrypted before transmitting over the Internet from the server to the program (and vice versa), it is extremely fast and secured even on a 28.8kps slow modem connection.

This demo is designed for Aluminum Trading Company and Manufacturer.  It cover various stages in the production and selling of Aluminum.  Different staff will update their own area of information and allow others to instantly see the result.

To see the effect, run 2 or more copies of the program.  Update data in one program and press the Refresh button on the program to refresh the data.  You will instantly see the changed you made to the other program.  For best effect, ask your colleague or friend to run the program on another computer connected to the internet.  You will see changed he made will be instantly available on press of the Refresh button.

Also, Choose Windows Menu, and switch to the other Window.
